Goodbye corndog, Hello salad!

I am soooo over my hunt for a good corndog. What was I thinking? Those things are nasty. This is my new food obsession. The sweet pork salad at Costa Vida. OH MY! You just cannot believe how much I love this salad. The sweet pork is so amazing! If you have a Costa Vida in your town you must go immediately. I think this picture is actually of the chicken salad there, but get the pork, you won't be sorry. My food blog has the link for Costa Vida. Just DO IT!!

I am warning you they are so good that you will eat them all the time and then after about a year of excessive salad indulging you will not be able to ever walk into Costa Vida again!!! I agree they are the BEST!!

Molly, That looks/sounds exactly like the Pork-Barbacoa Salad at Cafe Rio (in Provo)--I was addicted to it. Boo-who, now I'm really missing Utah! I guess I'll be on the hunt here in Livermore now since you reminded me and my mouth is watering for it. Thanks!

Hey Molly! I'm glad you found my blog. Yours is so cute. Don't even get me started on Costa Vida. I'm sooo in love with it! I have an awesome recipe for the sweet pork, I'll have to get it to you. Also the creamy dressing (that I could drink from a cup) okay, and pretty much everything else to have CV night at home! We're actually going to do Costa Vida week on our blog some time. Anyway, wow, I'm talking a lot, I'll stop. I just wanted to say hi!

Oh my, I miss those Rumbi salads! I know that's not what you're talking about, but made me think of them. I'll have to look for a recipe online.

why oh why were you ever on a hunt for corndogs? That salad looks amazing. There are no costa vidas in Pa. I guess I'll have to wait until I get to boise and we can go together.

Um, this is mu favorite food. Call me - we'll do lunch! (I have some recipes that replicate the pork, chicken, rice, and dressing if you want them.)

You know I usually go straight from the SLC airport to Cafe Rio (basically same thing) to get a pork salad - love them. No, I food worship them.

I screamed and danced a happy dance when I heard that a Costa Vida was recently built an hour away from us! Yes - it means that with gas prices, it probably costs me $15 in gas alone - but I love them! So yummy. :)
