Nathan is soooo in love with me. It's like he is obsessed with me. He just has to be around me and constantly needs my attention. When I walk into the room he just feels better. I mean, he just can't take his eyes off me. And I have to say the feeling is mutual. We are having a serious love affair. Can you see why?

Motherhood is...
Giving into the moment.
A truckload of patience.
Turning off lights all day long.
Laundry.
Pausing after you back out of your driveway to remember who you are taking where.
Saying things you never thought you would say.
Laughing.
The smile you get from your kids when you walk into a room that was meant only for Mom. That smile that makes your heart melt and his face almost burst. That smile is and always will be only for you. That smile is motherhood to me.

And so it goes
We hired a lawn guy. Good decision. Last year when I found out I was pregnant Jeremy hired cleaning ladies for me. He just called me from work one day and told me what time they would be showing up. It was true love let me tell ya. So I decided to cancel the cleaning ladies in hopes that I can get my act together now and I hired Jeremy a lawn guy. Happiness, except I might have cried a little when I had to scrub the bathrooms myself this week. I know you feel really sorry for me.
So the lawn guy told me our grass is stressed. Really stressed. And that just sounds about right, doesn't it? I mean who isn't stressed around here? I guess everything and everybody feels the stress when a new baby arrives.
On another note, I've been thinking about how money can't buy happiness. I mean, everybody knows money can't buy happiness. But money can buy food (and cleaning ladies and lawn guys). And food is happiness. What? Is that Bob and Jillian knocking at my door? Before I get busted try these. Alexia Waffle Fries. So good, and usually in the organic section of your grocery store.

Big Gulp
That is me swallowing my pride. Because I want to come back even though I said I was done. And I can't believe how much I missed my blog. And my people. And I became addicted to facebook, and I don't really like it that much. So... I am back. Here are some old school pictures to celebrate my return. Enjoy. This is Jeremy and I just hours after he proposed. I love the look on his face. And my high waisted pants and cropped shirt.
One of the best days of my life. Graduating from BYU after I had Spencer. Both of my families came out to support me. It was such a great accomplishment. I am so happy for my sister Sally that just graduated and Stacey coming up soon!
