Camping at Cascade

We had another great camping trip with our friends who were so generous sharing their camping sight and boat and food with us. They just make camping easy!! We all had a great time and I survived my one night of camping for the summer. Phew!

Oh, By the Way...

I just thought I would share one last picture of yours truly. It is the last one you will see in a very long time. As you can see, I am getting a nice belly going. Baby number 4 here we come! I am fifteen weeks and four days, but who's counting? January baby, bring it on!

Utah Weekend

We headed off for a great weekend in Park City with Jeremy's family. Thank you Connie and Dave for hosting us! Thank you to the Davis family for a fun dinner! On our way into town we had to stop at our favorite Utah tourist attraction. We have been going here for over 5 years now, my children have practically grown up here! We love it, and have I mentioned that it is free? FREE, people!
This has been Spencer's favorite plane since he was 2 years old. He calls it the shark plane. They always have the plane in a different place, so we have to go on a hunt for the shark plane.
This year the pirate plane was Sam's favorite.

It was blazing hot, we tried to find refuge under the planes. This didn't really help.

Dinner with the cousins. They had a great time together!

The boys went hiking in the morning at Park City while I got to do some much needed back to school shopping at the outlets.
They found some really deep grass.

The boys love riding on the luggage cart.

I am Woman... Again

Last night I decided to make my very first batch of freezer jam! Yummy, we are very excited. I have just been so inspired by all the summer fruit this year. I think next time I want to try and make Jam that doesn't have to go in the freezer. We are still a one freezer family, so space is very limited.

Day trip to McCall

After Oregon we headed north for a day in McCall, Idaho. It was very lovely, thanks to my sister and her family. We had a great time swimming and hiking. The air was wonderful, and I loved the clean, cool lake.

Sam's look

Please, no matter what, don't look at the camera. Well done.

4th of July in Oregon

I have been a bad blogger! I am going to work on getting caught up this week. Mostly I have not been blogging because we have been gone so much doing fun summer trips and activities. Thank you to friends and family who have provided us with such fun opportunities! Our trip to Oregon was wonderful, and I definitely could have stayed longer. I didn't even get to do any shopping, one of my favorite things in Portland. Next trip.... I don't have that many great pictures from this trip, but here are a few. We went to fun little amusement park in Salem, a day at the beach, the indoor water park, and fun 4th of July activites. Our sparklers were really duddy this year. Bad batch, and kind of dangerous!
This is Sam's classic look for the past few months. Every time I pull out the camera he goes into this weird toothy thing. I hope this phase passes!

Matthew just did his own thing for the little ward parade we went to. He ditched his scooter and decided to be a lone walker.
Spencer and Sam were very into the parade and kept going until the end!

My Mom with Matthew and Haylee.

I think this Ferris Wheel was not exciting enough for Spencer. This was when it was moving! He loved the roller coaster and went on it about 20 times. Unfortunately, no pictures.
